Meet Bleeding December: The International OPM Alt-Rock Project Blending '90s Nostalgia with Fresh Energy
A fresh sound is emerging in the OPM landscape as new international collaboration Bleeding December prepares to launch their self-titled debut EP this October. Blending '90s alternative rock, acoustic pop, and adult contemporary sensibilities, the band delivers a nostalgic yet refreshed take on indie rock.
Bleeding December brings together two distinct musical backgrounds across the Pacific:
Mel Felismino (Lead Vocals & Guitar) – Hailing from a musical family, Mel is the brother of Jaeson Felismino, lead guitarist of the hit OPM band Nobita.
Dave Habza (Bass) – Canadian bassist and producer bringing international indie rock influences to the table.
Adding a power boost to their rhythm section, the self-titled EP features guest studio drumming by none other than Frank Ferrer, best known for his work behind the kit with legendary rock titans Guns N' Roses, as well as The Psychedelic Furs and Love Spit Love.
