A new chapter in Filipino generosity and social impact begins with the official launch of Initiate Global Foundation (IGF) on February 16, 2026, the sustainability and social impact arm of Initiate PH. Designed to make giving smarter, more responsible, and truly transformative, IGF aims to empower communities while supporting long-term national development.
As the Philippines’ first social fintech enterprise, IGF goes beyond traditional charity. It equips NGOs, social advocates, individuals, and institutions with tools to create sustainable funding solutions, turning acts of goodwill into measurable, lasting impact. By connecting generosity with practical economic solutions, IGF helps communities secure resources, scale programs, and build resilience, directly contributing to local progress and national growth.
While Initiate PH, the world’s all-in-one crowdfunding platform, awaits its secondary license from the Securities and Exchange Commission to expand its public fundraising services, IGF is taking the lead in building sustainable support systems for grassroots initiatives. Acting as a responsible conduit, IGF ensures that every campaign meets the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and impact, allowing donors and advocates alike to participate confidently in nation-building.
“IGF proves that real change isn’t just a dream, it’s possible when technology, responsibility, and compassion come together,” said Bertln Batiancila, Chairman of Initiate Global Foundation. “We’re not just helping communities survive today, we’re giving them the tools to thrive tomorrow. Together, our collective goodwill becomes the engine of lasting progress for the Philippines.”
Initiate 2030: A Nationwide Call to Action
As part of its mission, IGF today introduces Initiate 2030, a movement aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this initiative, NGOs, youth leaders, social enterprises, private sector partners, and everyday Filipinos are invited to work together for measurable social and economic impact by 2030, covering education, health, livelihood, climate action, and inclusive economic growth.
Anchored in the Filipino spirit of bayanihan, Initiate 2030 carries the heartfelt call: “Sino pa ba ang magtutulungan kung hindi tayo-tayo rin?” This is a reminder that nation-building and progress are possible only when we act together.
“Through Initiate 2030, we are giving communities more than support, we’re giving them a voice and a role in shaping the future of our country,” said Jocarl G. Zaide. “IGF is the bridge that connects hearts to action, and with the help of our kababayans, we are bringing the Initiate Filipino Dream to life: a nation where generosity creates real, lasting opportunities for every Filipino.”
With IGF, giving is no longer just an act of kindness, it’s an investment in the future of Filipino communities. Every contribution strengthens local economies, drives inclusive growth, and empowers communities to thrive independently, with dignity and purpose.”
